Komfort 200
The Komfort 200 System is designed to be used with screed floors; the Komfort pipe is fitted to the insulation by using plastic staples to secure the pipework in place. The Komfort pipe can be ran at variable centres, depending on flow temperature and heat loss requirements. The Komfort 200 System is easy and quick to install. The Komfort underfloor heating pipe is European made, 5 layer Oxygen Barrier pipe (integral barrier), it has a pressure specification of 90° Celsius 6 bar DIN 4721-4726 SKZ.
Insulation, Vapour Barrier & Expansion Strip.
We recommend using Poly-Urethane insulation (such as Kingspan, Celotex, Sterling board, etc.) This is simply laid on top of the sub floor. The thickness of insulation will depend on building regulations in your area. The thicker the insulation the better your underfloor heating system will work, you will only buy the insulation once. A vapour barrier should be laid on top of the insulation, all joints in the vapour barrier should be taped together, and the vapour barrier must have an up stand around the perimeter of the room. Behind this up stand an expansion strip must be laid which allows for the expansion and contraction of the floor when heating and cooling. The up stand is the fixed to the wall.
Screed
Liquid screeds are becoming more and more popular on major construction projects as they are perceived to be quick drying and can be installed up to 10 times faster than conventional sand/cement screeds. Reducing the thickness which allows drying out time quicker and the heating can be commissioned earlier. With the thinner floor the heating is more responsive and can heat up approx 20% faster and in turn offering you a reduced running costs and giving savings, also a thinner floor can give a higher heat output rather than a thicker floor. Screed Thickness 50mm The solid floor can be finished with tiles, flagstones, slate, wooden floor, vinyl, resin coating and various carpet finishes.

Komfort 250
The Komfort 250 System is designed to be used with screed floors offering the advantage of a low build up height of only 27mm; The Komfort pipe is fitted within the system floor panel at pre-determined pipe centres. The Komfort 250 System is easy and quick to install. The Komfort underfloor heating pipe is European made, 5 layer Oxygen Barrier pipe (integral barrier), it has a pressure specification of 90° Celsius 6 bar DIN 4721-4726 SKZ
